IN FLAMES Bassist: 'When Bad Things Happen, You Start To Appreciate How Good Things Can Be'

August 28, 2006

IN FLAMES bassist Peter Iwers has posted the following message on the band's official web site:

"Thanx for a great tour [the recently completed Sounds of the Underground in the U.S.]. I had a great time with my friends in the other bands and crew. Right now we're all at home enjoying some time off before going out again with SLAYER in October/November.

"Summer seems to be over and done with here in Gothenburg, which kinda sux as I was looking forward to enjoying some time in the sun with the family and friends before autumn arrives... .....BUT!!.... I just wanna leave a link for you all to watch on something that really touched me when I first heard about it a long time ago.

"When bad things happen, you start to appreciate how good things can be and when I complain about small matters as above, I feel ashamed, because I remember how some other people would love to be able to just walk, talk, breathe.... It shouldn't have to be that other people's unfortunate incidents remind you not to take life for granted...
